How To Live Life With Meaning For The Present


If you are the least bit of a procrastinator then you can easily alter the path that you have set for yourself to live life with meaning. So what is living life with meaning? It is getting what you want out of life for the betterment of you, your loved ones and any human being that crosses your path in life.

To begin with you need to know the difference between existing and living. Unfortunately because of life being tough right now we are mostly existing. Existing means having basically the same thoughts everyday, following the same basic routine, and only being thankful that you made it through the day.

Now what is living? Wow now we're talking. Living is getting up in the morning feeling glad to be alive and looking forward to what the day will bring. This would be seeing the love of your life waiting for you in the kitchen, a smile on your little one's face and maybe looking forward to family coming over for dinner. If none of these things are important to you then guess what you have become emotionally poor, and something has robbed you of life's treasures. Now that doesn't mean you can't get them back, you just need to realize that hey you have been robbed. Once you get your treasures back then you will begin to live life with meaning. The moment you don't then you will have been robbed again.

You know there may be bill collectors at your door, and you may not have a job, and you may not own a car or house, but if you have people that love you and people that you love then you are a very rich person. I know all the circumstances of life are tough, but at least just take five minutes to look at your life's portfolio and see what's still there and what's missing.

Only you can give you life meaning and only youcan live life with meaning. When life comes to an end, no matter what has transpired in your life don't let yourself have to look back and ask what meaning did your life have. Remember, also to pass on a kind word or smile whenever you can through life's journey for then you will have touched the life of another. You will be surprised at just how good it will make you feel. Its better than taking a daily vitamin. Kindness is life's medicine and its catching. Just try getting on an elevator and saying good morning everyone, and watch the expressions on people's faces. You will actually find it amusing, many people will look shocked yet will respond even with a hint of a smile. Now there is a life that has meaning.

How To Live Life Peacefully

There are many different ways to live life. We can live it with joy,excitement,enthusiasm,stress free and how about peacefully? But for many of us we live it hand to mouth with tight financial constraints, no time, over burdened with responsibilities. There is no need to ask which of these lifestyles can possibly be the best for our health. It really is no wonder that we often age prematurely, and then when we do hit our senior years we just want to mellow out. For the young ones they look upon seniors who adopt this attitude of giving up on life. All the senior wants to do is live peacefully.

Perhaps though if we were to adopt a lifestyle now of living peacefully then we could enjoy our senior years as well. So how do we go about that? We have to learn to turn it off. Yes turn off the displeasures of life for a time. It would be nice if at 7pm everynight we could say okay my job of living life is done for today. Now its time for enjoyment of life. Look at all your stress,responsibilities and financial woes as being your job of life. You need to learn how to break free of it. Easier said then done you say?

Well yes that is true, but how about the multitude of emergency and trauma doctors that live with tragedy day in and day out as part of their job. If they didn't learn to turn it off at the end of the day they would go crazy. The same for law enforcement officials or paramedics.

You can teach yourself to let go. You may even have to go through some mental exercises. For example, choose a room of your house that you simply do not allow any issues of life in. Maybe its just a small getaway room, but the golden rule is this room does not become marred by the issues of life. The only thing allowed in this room is pleasant positive conversations, a time for pleasant memories. If you really apply yourself to this little exercise you are going to be amazed at how you feel while in here. While you are at it try applying some living life quotes to further empower your life. If you start by making these few changes in your life you are going to be shocked at what begins to transpire.
